Chad Rutzel is one of two hockey players named Player of the Week for Davenport athletics as he played a solid weekend in a series split with ACHA Division I Ohio University. Kevin Moodie

Sport: Hockey
Position: Forward

Kevin Moodie joins his teammate as the Panthers Player of the week after helping the men's hockey team to an impressive 1-1 weekend against ACHA Div I #7 ranked Ohio University.  Moodie, a 5'8 Senior from Redford, MI, helped the defense contain a strong offensive showing  y the Bobcats.  According to Assistant Coach Phil Sweeney, "Kevin and Chad Rutzel frustrated the Bobcats by shutting down any quality opportunities by taking away the passing lanes, blocking shots and playing perfect zone defense."
